About the Artist

  • Rima Said is a self-taught artist from Tunisia, holding a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications. Her passion for art and science ignited from the moment she first wielded a pencil with her left hand.
  • Primarily specializing in pencil and acrylic portraiture, Rima finds herself constantly drawn to explore new artistic styles and experiment with various media, including oil, watercolor, pastel, and mixed materials. More recently, she has delved into the realm of digital art.
  • In 2018, her portrait of Dorra Bouzid, the first Tunisian journalist and serologist-pharmacist, earned recognition by being selected for display at “Chouftouhonna,” the international feminist Art festival of Tunis.
